Welcome to our "FUZZIE'S" web page!! God has truly blessed us with some wonderful dogs! "Crystal" was our first show girl. After a few shows we were hooked and "Crystal" - CH. Bischar’s Crystal Maiden - became our first AKC Champion! That was over 22 years ago and we have enjoyed loving, showing and raising Keeshonden ever since!
Keeshonden are from Holland. They were bred to live in small quarters. These dogs have marvelous temperaments, are extremely agile, fun loving and personable. Incredibly affectionate, these dogs are people pleasers and amusers.
They are not backyard dogs. Kees need people. They are TERRIFIC with kids and are wonderful with other pets. Since they were bred to guard small barges and farms they will sound the alarm when anyone comes near, but they are barkers not biters!
Males are about 18 inches at the shoulders and weigh about 35-40 pounds; females are about 17 inches, weighing about 30-35 pounds.
Keeshonden are elegant in appearance. Full-coated, Kees look bigger than they are. One hour a week of proper grooming is all they need.
If you a dog that will truly be a member of your family - than a Keeshond is the dog for you!

It has been our privilege to assist newcomers to the breed and the show ring throughout the years.
We occasionally have show and companion puppies available for approved homes as well as retired Champions.
We breed for temperament, soundness, health and type. All of our adult dogs are tested for PHPT; hip dysplasia; normal thyroids; normal elbows; tight stifles and juvenile cataracts. (Check our links page for more information about these tests.)
